Kete LED Canvas Wall Art Print

A kete is a traditional Maori woven basket, often made from harakeke (flax), used for carrying and storing everything from food to treasured belongings. This canvas print by NZ artist Sophie Blokker reimagines that woven pattern in her bold, layered style, with built in LED backlighting behind the piece.

By day it's a striking canvas print. By evening, switch on the light and it takes on a warmer, glowing mood a plain canvas can't match. The light is touch operated and runs on 3 AA batteries, so there's no need to be near a power point.

This isn't a printed effect, it's a genuine light source built into the frame, designed to be used every evening, not just admired once.

At 300 x 300mm it's compact enough to sit on its own on a smaller wall, in a hallway, or as one piece within a gallery grouping.
