Fantail Welcome Sign - Metal Wall Hanging

A single blue fantail, or piwakawaka, perched on a branch, laser cut from metal in soft blue and green tones. In Maori tradition the fantail is associated with visitors and messages, which is exactly why it works so well as a welcome sign rather than being a random bird choice.

The single bird design gives this version a cleaner, more minimal look than the pair, well suited to a smaller entryway, a narrow porch wall, or anywhere a bolder pair design would feel like too much.

Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. If hanging outside, a light coat of anti-rust spray every few months will help it hold up against the weather.

At 280 x 275mm it's a neat, compact size that fits comfortably beside a front door or on a smaller wall.
