Wood Pigeon LED Canvas Wall Art Print
A wood pigeon design by New Zealand artist Sophie Blokker, printed on canvas with built in LED backlighting behind the piece. By day it's a striking canvas print in Sophie's bold, layered style. By evening, switch on the light and the piece takes on a completely different mood, a soft glow that lifts the colours and gives the whole thing depth a plain canvas can't match.
The light is touch operated, no switches or cords to fuss with, just a light tap on the frame to turn it on or off. It's battery powered, so there's no need to be near a power point, which makes it easy to place on any wall you like.
This isn't a printed effect or a gimmick. It's a genuine light source built into the frame, designed to be used every evening, not just admired once.
At 300 x 300mm it's compact enough to sit on its own on a smaller wall, in a hallway, or as one piece within a gallery grouping where you want a bit of warmth and movement among the static pieces.
