A pair of blue fantails, or piwakawaka, perched together on a branch, laser cut from metal in soft, welcoming shades of blue and green. In Maori tradition the fantail is associated with visitors and messages, which makes it a fitting choice for a welcome sign rather than an arbitrary bird pick.
The pair design gives this version a bit more presence and warmth than a single bird sign, well suited to a front door, entryway, or porch where you want guests to feel greeted before they've even knocked.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. If hanging outside, a light coat of anti-rust spray every few months will help it hold up against the weather.
